At the Combe Grove Kitchen Garden, all vegetables are propagated from organic seeds sourced from Tamar Organics. Organically grown vegetables boast higher levels of antioxidants and are richer in nutrients such as Vitamin C, iron, magnesium, and phosphorus, while also having lower nitrate levels. No pesticides are used to protect pollinators and local ecosystems.

The ‘Field to Fork’ philosophy ensures that the on-site kitchen and members receive the freshest produce. Harvested in the morning, these vegetables retain their nutritional value, essential vitamins, peak flavour, and texture. Additionally, locally grown produce reduces CO2 emissions and minimises waste.
