Finding Your Way Here
If you are planning to drive here, the postcode for your satellite navigation is BA2 7HU. You will arrive at Combe Grove via one of two winding driveways. One entrance from Claverton Down Road and the other on Brassknocker Hill. Both driveways are a little narrow and winding in places, and watch out for the speedbumps.
There is ample free parking at Combe Grove. The largest car park is in front of the Manor House, with smaller parking areas a short walk away.
Train and Bus
Bath Spa station is 30 minutes away by bus. There are two options: the tourist Skyline bus that takes 30 minutes from Dorchester Street in the city centre. To get this bus, you exit the station, cross the road and get on at stop A. You exit the bus at stop P. This is a lovely route up to Combe Grove if you have time and want to see a bit of Bath. This bus costs £16.50 and is valid for 24 hours.
You can also get the number 2 bus. To get the bus, you walk out of the station and walk 4 minutes across the large paved area to the bus station. The 2 stops right by the final timetable display. It drops you at The Hadley Arms which is 20 minutes walk along a straight road to Combe Grove. This bus costs £1.80 for students and up to £2.50 for adults for a single journey.
There is a taxi rank at the train station, or you can call local company Abbey Taxis: 01225 444 444. They know our location well. The journey is 10 minutes and should cost £10.
From Bristol Airport
If you fly into Bristol airport the Bath Bus Company coach will take you straight to Bath bus station. The journey is 50 minutes and is £14 one way or £20 for a return ticket.
