Combe Grove is an 18th Century manor house set in 76 acres of woodland, perched on a hilltop on the edge of the city of Bath. The views are breath-taking and the background noise of life is happily absent. The possibilities for restoring some equilibrium to mind and body during your stay are plentiful.
The Elmhurst Foundation
Combe Grove is owned by The Elmhurst Foundation, a charity that is transforming the site into a centre for work-based learning excellence with a range of high quality, enhanced apprenticeships. Over the coming months and years, The Elmhurst Foundation will continue to evolve the hotel into a go-to destination for health & wellbeing, making the very most of its tranquil woodland setting and outstanding natural views.
We will expand our treatment offering by adding cranio-osteopathy, homeopathy, acupuncture and reflexology. We will gradually introduce more daily classes and residential courses with a focus on wellness, including yoga, meditation, painting, and writing. These will sit alongside a programme of practical courses such as bee-keeping, dry-stone walling, and hedge-laying.
