Dr Rebecca Hiscutt. PhD.
Rebecca has worked in nutrition for 20 years since graduating from the University of Surrey with a 1st class degree in nutrition and dietetics. She began her career as a research dietitian investigating five popular weight loss diets. Over 6 months Rebecca helped to support 300 people to make significant lifestyle changes and improve their metabolic health.
Rebecca continued researching the effects of nutrition on metabolic health during her doctoral research investigating the effects of low carbohydrate diets on cardiovascular risk factors. Throughout her PhD, Rebecca was a partner in a private dietetic practice providing personalised nutrition advice to help people with metabolic syndrome, gastrointestinal conditions and weight loss.
Rebecca has also worked as an obesity specialist dietitian for the charity Weight Concerns and had dietetic roles in both NHS and private hospitals.
For the past 8 years, Rebecca has run a nutrition and wellbeing company to help people discover how to use food to enable them to thrive. This has involved running nutrition, yoga and mindfulness retreats, providing nutrition coaching to individuals and running nutrition training sessions for organisations.


Amanda Overeynder BSc Hons, RD, PGCE, MRes
Amanda qualified with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and has worked within the NHS in both paediatric and adult services, having a real interest in diabetes and metabolic health. She has also enjoyed a happy and successful career as a primary school teacher and has a Research Masters in Education.
Following an opportunity to attend a residential stay at Combe Grove, Amanda chose to complete her Return to Practice as a dietitian in the NHS and has joined the Combe Grove team as a registered dietitian and senior metabolic health coach. She is a real advocate of a holistic approach to metabolic health, focusing on the individual – and has successfully supported many people on their metabolic journeys.
Amanda is excited to be delivering the Combe Grove at Home programme and looks forward to working with each client to set realistic achievable goals and support their metabolic health journey and wellbeing.

Through a comprehensive Metabolic Health Assessment, including blood tests, gain medical insight into the current status of your Metabolic Health. Together with your personal Metabolic Health Coach, understand your results to inform your tailored plan for improved health.
Throughout the programme, your personal Metabolic Health Coach supports you with dedicated consultations. In your three 45-minute consultations, share your health history, preferences, and daily life approach, allowing your coach to offer powerful personalised guidance.
You’ll be part of a small group of 20 fellow clients, ensuring a personalised experience and close-knit connection with your cohort throughout your journey.
Your individual support is complemented by group sessions with your cohort who start their programme alongside you. This fosters a closely aligned community, all sharing the common goal of improving health.

Through comprehensive assessments, including detailed blood tests, blood pressure and waist circumference measurement, gain invaluable medical insights into your body’s current state. Collaborate with your dedicated Metabolic Health Coach to analyse these findings and develop a personalised 5 Roots Of Metabolic Health™ plan tailored to your unique needs and goals. This deep understanding empowers you to take informed steps towards a healthier, more balanced life.
