Encourage Deep Relaxation and Healing
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy therapy designed to alleviate stress and anxiety, promoting relaxation and facilitating the body’s natural healing processes. Originating in Japan, Reiki harnesses the concept of “Ki,” or life force energy, which is integral to health across various cultures.
How it works
During a Reiki session, you will remain fully clothed, either lying on a massage couch or sitting in a chair, based on your preference. The Practitioner will position their hands, palms down, on or above specific points on your body to enable the flow of energy where it is most needed. This treatment does not involve massage, pressure, or manipulation, allowing your body to enter a state conducive to healing. Reiki can be used in conjunction with other medical and complementary therapies to enhance their effectiveness.
