  • |

Sunday 11th November, 2.30-4.30pm

Autumn, a good time to turn down the heat and intensity of your regular sport routines and experience the benefits of a Yin Yoga workshop;
– Physically, releasing and lengthening muscle tension
– Emotionally, opening heart space.

There is a natural tendency during this time of transition to reflect upon the areas of our own lives that might be out of balance and to consider how we can cultivate more balance mentally, emotionally and physically. A Yin Yoga practice is a wonderful way to recentre and embrace the changing seasons.

In Chinese Medicine Theory, Autumn is a time for letting go. To surrender. To release. To exhale.

In this Yin Yoga workshop, we will work with poses to stimulate the Stomach/SpleenMeridian (related to the Earth element) then transitions to poses stimulating the Lung Meridian (related to the Metal element) which connects us to Autumn.Honouring transitions helps bring us into alignment with nature. It assists in letting go of habitual negative thought patterns and opens us to new potential.

Remember to gently and respectfully find your edge, remain still when you are there and always, always…breathe!

INCLUDED IN THE DAY – full use of beautiful heated indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room and water massage beds.
