Combe Grove is a Centre for Health and Wellbeing in Bath and has recently launched its programme to provide Metabolic Health programmes for clients looking either to improve their Metabolic Health or for those diagnosed with pre-diabetes. The business also runs a thriving health and fitness business, The Club, with a local membership. Both parts of the organisation are expecting strong, fast and profitable growth in the next 12-18 months.
Combe Grove is part of The Elmhurst Foundation, a Charitable Trust with three objectives: to practice and increase knowledge in the fields of health and wellbeing, to create 90 high-quality enhanced apprenticeships and to share facilities and expertise for the benefit of the local community.
The business has an exciting full-time role for a qualified, experienced and commercially aware accountant to head up the Finance & IT Team. The successful candidate will be involved in the day-to-day management of the business and will join a very enthusiastic, committed and high-performing management team of professionals who all excel in their area of expertise.

We would like you to offer –
- Fully qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA
- Leadership skills with a strong emphasis on training, coaching and development of degree-level apprenticeships
- Extensive experience of timely and accurate management accounting and reporting
- Careful monitoring and management of cashflow
- Understanding of company secretarial requirements
- Legal and contract experience highly desirable with good negotiation skills
- Interest and experience in IT management useful
- Desire to learn, personally grow and to help others
- A strong interest in health & wellness

Combe Grove is situated in a beautiful, largely wooded setting on the west of Bath and public transport options are limited in this area so your own transport is required and we offer free parking. Given the nature of the Combe Grove business and the importance of this
role, this position is office-based and there will be the need to join the duty manager rota on 4 weekends each year, for which time-off in lieu will be granted.
