Time to retreat
It has been winter for what seems like an eternity now and we are all feeling the strains of being in the dark, cold and wet for far too long. Come and join us on this fabulous yoga and well-being retreat to find your inner sunshine and always know you have this to tap back into!
Yoga, forest bathing, guided-meditations, full-use of the onsite spa, nature walks, discussions and yummy food are all part of this well-being weekend. Whether you are stressed, struggling with sleep, suffering with illness or injury, or just need some quiet time in a beautiful setting – this is the retreat for you! There will also be ample opportunity for free time and to explore the grounds and gardens of this amazing manor house.
The weekend will run from the afternoon on Friday 1st May until Sunday 3rd May evening, with the option to arrive any time from 8am on the Friday and use the spa facilities at no extra cost (this is what I am definitely going to do!). Treatments are also available and are offered with discount for us over the Friday to Sunday. I will be offering angelic reiki treatments and well-being coaching taster sessions, which will be heavily discounted over the weekend. Please do let me know if you are interested so we can book these in advance to avoid disappointment.
All levels of yoga and meditation are welcome and invited. My focus is on alignment and therapy for body, mind and soul through yoga and meditation, therefore all abilities are encouraged and the ethos of yoga and meditation being for everyone runs through everything. Groups are welcome to come together, as are individuals. There will be chance to meet others and I will also encourage introspection and self-reflective quiet time. Please do share the event with anyone who may be interested.
I teach a mixture of hatha, vinyasa and yin yoga, with the focus being on alignment in the poses to most benefit the body and creating a synergy between mind, body and soul through the practices of yoga and meditation. Inner and outer peace are what I would like to guide you to find. We practice on the mat to then be able to emulate these things in our everyday activities; yoga is a way of life, not just something we do on the mat.
I love teaching, and alongside this I run a wellness coaching and healing programme to go even deeper into issues that many of us face and help you find the tools you need to find your best life and return to inner happiness. I also run a charity that operates in Uganda and Congo called Be The Change. We aim to help alleviate poverty by providing support and opportunity to former-child-soldiers and vulnerable children and adults in Uganda and Congo, as well as partnering with conservation organisations to try to restore the Central African and Indonesian rainforests that are being decimated due to conflict resources like palm oil and minerals.
