Horticulture Level 2/3
We sit in 64 acres of lush grounds that need maintaining, managing and cultivating. With plans to establish and cultivate vegetables, fruit, nuts and herbs to supply the kitchen fresh and nutrient rich ingredients. Creating a wildlife haven, a diverse ecosystem and a beautiful backdrop to an excellent Hotel, this is much more than a gardener role.
Our apprentices will have the opportunity to explore different specialisms within their role as Land Stewards that includes food production, horticulture and woodland management. This will include learning and improving their wellbeing, and to provide public benefit to the local community through charitable work. Each Apprenticeship will include an element of community service, organised by us, relating to their chosen discipline. We have started to form partnerships with local charities and privately-owned businesses such as Avon Wildlife.
