Wildlife Bio Blitz

In late August, we teamed up with Bath Natural History Society to undertake a ‘bio blitz’ – recording as much wildlife as we could in a day. The results of the survey revealed some interesting finds.

Among the many species of moths, we found a local rarity, Elachista adscitella, along with over 200 species of plants, 30 different lichens, 45 bird species and over 50 species of fungi!

We will continue to record all the wildlife here so we can help to improve habitat and encourage this biological asset to flourish.

Thank you to Bath Natural History Society and all their knowledge.
