By popular demand, Sunday Yoga workshops will return to Combe Grove from June 24th 2018. These invigorating workshops are suitable for all levels & abilities are perfect for those looking to reset the clock for the week ahead, with deeper attention to their yoga practice. These classes will be more intimate than a regular class, taking place in a candlelit studio with a woodland view.

Participants are invited to make a day of their visit, with full use of the Combe Grove fitness & leisure facilities, including indoor pool, steam room, sauna and fully equipped gym, included in the price. Mats and chilled water are provided, so once you’ve booked the workshop, all you need to do is turn up.

Yoga and Gong Workshop

Sunday 24th June 2018, 2.30 – 4.30pm

This is a unique and precious opportunity to get closer to yourself. You will feel a sense of connection and peace as you stretch and flow through yoga asanas (poses). The sacred sound of the gongs will restore the free flow of vital energy throughout your body.

The gongs can induce a spontaneous meditative state, offering you access the parts of your mind that are usually closed. Your awareness will expand and the constant chatter of your mind will be silenced.

This workshop delivers a sense of physical and psychological strength. It gives you the tools to open up your body, stretching it, letting the energy flow. With the magic of a controlled breath you can cleanse, relax and reinvigorate your system. You will feel brand new!

Summer Yin Yoga Workshop

Sunday 8th July 2018, 2.30 – 4.30pm
Summer is the perfect time to turn down the intensity of your regular sport routines and experience the benefits of a Yin Yoga workshop. Physically you can release and lengthen your muscle tension. Emotionally you can open your heart space.
Celebrate the joy of the summer and rebalance the heat. In this Yin Yoga workshop, we will work with soft, long supported backbends, complimented with deep and delicious forward bends. With a focus on upper body stretches to open chest, shoulders, strengthen back, and support spine alignment.
The workshop closes with a light Metta Meditation to cultivate the love and compassionate attributes of the Fire Element, soothe the heart and allow your eternal sunshine to rise.

Couples' Yoga

Sunday 16th September, 2018, 2.30 – 4.30pm

Looking to relax, laugh, play and connect? Couple, or partner, yoga with massage is a super alternative to your regular Sunday afternoon.

Partner yoga cultivates connection, trust and body awareness. It challenges and builds concentration, balance, playfulness and joy and the session will finish with a massage infused yoga relaxation.

Think it can’t get any better? You also get full use of Combe Grove’s beautiful indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room and water massage beds.

This workshop is open to all: couples, friends, singles, anyone new to yoga and those experienced. Please note, you do not need to bring a partner to attend the workshop.
