Find out about this exciting new personalised approach to studio cycling and be amongst the first to try out the new Les Mills releases on Saturday 7th October 2017  

On Saturday 7th October, new Spin instructor Sophie is hosting a drop-in morning from 9am- 11am in the Spin studio, for you to come and try Coaching by Colour. This is a technology which allows improvement in fitness and strength to be tracked over time in a much more personal way, using our new Lifefitness ICG5 studio bikes.

By performing a straightforward Functional Threshold Power (FTP) test, which measures how hard you can cycle for a ‘power hour’, our bikes will determine your personalised colour power zones, which represent zones of increasing cycling effort. Once completed, these colour zones allow our instructors to help you optimise your workout and track improvement through your regular classes.

There will be two group Functional Threshold Power (FTP) ramp tests at 9am and 10am. For those who prefer to complete the test under their own steam with instructor guidance, drop in anytime between 9 and 11am.

In the meantime, in the main studio we’ll be running a special timetable to mark the latest releases from Les Mills. There will be lots going on, and we’re inviting members to bring a friend to their chosen class. There’s also a special one-off Vinyasa Flow Yoga class led by Annie with heat building sun salutes, standing poses, gentle inversion and relaxation – to leave you energized.

1700 – 1800 – Yoga (as usual)

1800 – 1900  – Boxercise (as usual)
